Washington Campus Compact is looking for passionate candidates interested in fighting poverty as part of the WACC AmeriCorps VISTA team. Members leverage university and college resources to serve communities across Washington State. We are looking to recruit 12 VISTAs who will support Education and Healthy Futures initiatives through civic engagement, student leadership development, and partnerships between higher education and community-based organizations.

Application Process:

After reviewing the position descriptions above by clicking on the position title, determine which sites most interest you. Then:

  1. Complete and submit an application through the apply links next to each position above. Here is a checklist to assist you in the process.
  2. Our office will review your application and then contact you to let you know your status. You will always hear from us, regardless whether you are not selected to move forward in the screening process or not.
  3. Candidates who pass initial screening will be contacted for a first interview through Washington Campus Compact.
  4. Those who would be a great addition to the statewide team and are selected to more forward will have their applications passed on to the host site(s) of their interest.
  5. Final interviews will be held with candidates that the host site feels are best suited for their campus culture, office environment, and project responsibilities.
