Washington Campus Compact invites member institution teams to participate in the 2017 Summer Institute, “Facilitating Civil Discourse, Difficult Conversations, and Inclusive Dialogue” on June 28-30, 2017.

This two-day institute is designed to provide the time, space, and tools for campus teams (senior administrators, faculty, professional staff, student leaders and their community partners) to learn and practice different models for facilitating civil discourse, difficult conversations, and inclusive dialogues on their campuses and in their communities.

Institute Objectives:

  • Learn and experience various models of facilitating civil discourse, difficult conversations, and inclusive dialogues
  • Practice facilitation techniques your team can share with your campus community
  • Explore strategies for creating a more inclusive and welcoming campus culture
  • Network with other campus teams from across the state
